FAQ
Short answers to common questions about TermiGram, credentials, sharing, AI, and support.
Is TermiGram a real app or just a bot?
Both parts work together. Telegram bots provide the entry, chat assistance, sharing flow, and support. The Web App provides the interactive profiles, terminal, SFTP, snippets, and settings interface.
Can I use TermiGram without saving a password?
Yes. Use SSH key authentication or enter credentials according to the available profile/session flow. Prefer a dedicated restricted SSH account.
Where are saved passwords and private keys protected?
TermiGram encrypts saved SSH secrets. Master Password adds a device-side barrier for secrets saved under that protection mode. See Security and privacy.
What does the green shield mean?
The profile's password or private key is protected with Master Password and is available to unlock on the current device.
Can support recover my Master Password?
No. You may need to enter the server credential again and save a new protected copy.
What is the difference between Guest and Full access?
Guest access stays controlled by a managed, expiring/revocable Share Link. Full access creates an independent profile copy for the recipient.
Can I revoke a Share Link?
You can revoke Guest access links and unused Full access links. You cannot recall a Full access profile after the recipient imports it.
Can AI see my SSH secrets or run commands?
The AI assistant should not have direct access to saved SSH passwords/private keys and does not independently run commands on your server.
How do I reach a human?
Open @TermiGram_Support_Bot, describe the issue without secrets, and request a human when AI triage is not enough.
